GENERAL PURPOSE: Schedule, assign, train, and monitor team to assure that assigned goals are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - SUPERVISOR BACKUP

• Leads the Retail, Drying and Fresh employees when Supervisor is absent
• Leads the Retail and Drying employees under direction of Team Supervisor
• Coordinates Vacation time with Production Supervisor
• Follow all safety, GMP, and regulatory guideline schedule, assign, train and monitor team to assure that assigned goals are met
• Direct team in preparing for production schedule
• Participate in rotations as required
• Verify all quality checks including day coding, tray labelling and pallet labelling
• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to assure delivery schedules are met
• Move, load, and unload materials and pallets in warehouse, production areas, and trucks according to shipping, receiving, and production schedules
• Maintain related records
• Clean and sanitize equipment
• Operate pallet jack and forklift
• Operate all associated machinery in a safe manner. Verify and document completion of MSS
• Instructs production employees in safe operating procedures and plant conduct
• Helps identify safety hazards and takes appropriate steps to control them
• Receives and relays all appropriate information and instructions from the Plant Manager to the production employees
• Maintains effective lateral communications with other supervisors and team leads
• Teaches and develops operational and decision making skills of the production staff

• High school diploma or equivalent
