Join the Everest 2023 Summer Internship Program! This is an exciting opportunity to receive exposure to the world of Project Management through dynamic training, firsthand business experience, and networking with the industry's leading experts and experienced professionals. Throughout the Program, you can expect to build upon the academic foundations you have established at school and apply your learning to real world scenarios. The Program will run for approximately 10 weeks beginning June 2023.

Your Impact & Opportunity

Project Managers have the unique opportunity to turn strategy into reality through planning and execution best practices. A combination of academic and practical hands-on experience gives Project Managers the ability to develop their skill and hone their instincts to prepare for a career in project management. As a Project Management Intern, you will both contribute to the success of our projects while learning from our team of seasoned Program and Project Managers who are supporting our business transformation at Everest. During the internship you can expect to:

  • Assist in pulling together and refining project documentation
  • Maintain project information in several project management software packages
  • Support the development and maintenance of project plans
  • With experienced project managers, plan, execute, and document outcomes of project meetings
  • Learn Resource Planning
  • Support identification and management of project risks and issues
  • Gain exposure to project execution in both agile and waterfall approaches
What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications

  • You are a sophomore or junior pursuing a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university, preferably majoring in Project Management or other related majors
  • Excellent communication, analytical, critical thinking, writing, and editing skills
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to apply common sense to complex challenges to drive to resolution
  • Innovative and self-starter attitude
  • Proficiency in MS Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint, preferably also Project.
  • Leadership or involvement in extracurricular activities, campus clubs/organizations, your community, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
