2023 Youth Summer Program - High School Internship, WFD - BWH
Brigham & Women's Hospital(BWH)

Depending on the department, the student may be involved in the following duties:

• Assisting with administrative duties (filing, copying, answering phones and checking in patients)
• Assisting with transporting patients and/or other duties as assigned by the department
• Cleaning, assembling and distribution of equipment
• Delivery of food or materials to various departments
• Assisting in a research lab
• Weekly workshops and career exploration

Qualifications
Eligible students must:

• Enrolled in High School
• 16 years old by June 1st, 2023
• A resident of the City of Boston, MA
• Fully COVID-19 Vaccinated and Boosted by June 1st, 2023
• Complete All additional onboarding paperwork request for employment

Skills/Competencies of Interest:

• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills in order to assist both internal and external customers
• Ability to work well independently or with others
• Requires the ability to remain flexible in order to handle and prioritize work from various department staff
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Ability to adhere to deadlines
• Knowledge in MS Office is preferred
