SUMMARY: The Account Manager will take full responsibility for all aspects of application and sales duties for the assigned customer accounts. It may also include special assignments in relation to the function not specified here. It includes interface with several individuals at our customer's locations and at various MAHLE worldwide plants. The work will require traveling both to customer and MAHLE locations worldwide. Cultivate relationships with key customer individuals across a variety of Functions. Ensure that other key employees have relationships with their counterparts at the customer. Develop a customer strategy that identifies new opportunities, positions the company to win new business, and exercises leadership in the execution of the strategy. Act as focal point for all commercial discussions/negotiations. Coordinate activities with Program Managers in the event of a pending milestone might be missed to establish "get well" plan and notify customer.
