Overview
Cimpl's, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk at our plant in Yankton, SD.

As our Accounting Clerk, you will:

• Maintain the general ledger software package to ensure that monthly and annual financial information and reports are available, timely, and accurate
• Design and maintain general ledger system and reports to meet the needs and requirements of financial management and departments
• Assist in preparation of the month end financial statement
• Perform routine financial and cost accounting tasks including month end journal entries and monthly inventory reconciliation
• Maintain in-house accounting systems
• Assist in the continuous improvement of information quality
• Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital and prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position
• Audits contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement
• Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
• Devises and implements system for general accounting
• State sales and use tax reporting
• Quarterly and year-end tax package schedules
• Month-end inter-group receivable confirmations
• Loading of Hyperion balance sheets

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Diploma or GED
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English (read, write, and speak)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Post high school education, Associate or Bachelor's degree
• CMA and/or CPA highly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
