Accounts Payable Specialist

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts payable activities from the purchase process to the confirming and disbursing funds for an invoice for Veterans United Home Loans and its affiliate companies. Depending on your assignment, you will focus on one of the following areas:

• Appraisal
  
• Checks@ request
  

Job duties will vary upon assignment but may include:

Appraisal

• Process appraisal invoices by ensuring the entry and imports are accurately completed and paid and troubleshoot errors as they come up.
  
• Responsible for monitoring the appraisal@ email account and responding to inquiries from internal and external customers.
  
• Oversee and reconcile daily and weekly credit card transactions, which will include answering questions related to borrower credit card transactions.
  
• Responsible for monitoring the direct deposit email account and setting up direct deposit for vendors as needed.
  
• Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.
  

Checks@ requests

• Accurately process, code, and submit invoices for approval from checks@ requests.
  
• Monitor the checks email accounts, and answer questions and concerns from internal and external customers.
  
• Reconcile vendor statements, weekly credit card statements, and accounts. Resolve any discrepancies as they occur.
  
• Review and approve monthly employee expense reports.
  
• Pay invoice credit card payments by phone or website.
  
• Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.
