Job Description Summary / TWC Summary:The Department of Transportation Studies (TMGT) at Texas Southern University is seeking to fill several part-time Instructor positions, at the level of adjunct Instructor. This appointment is without tenure and is not tenure track. This appointment is for one semester only and may be renewed as needed. The successful persons will be responsible for teaching the required Transportation Studies classes in the hired semester and assume a reasonable workload of related activities that constitute a 25% full-time instructional load; Schedule and maintain office hours for a minimum of (2) hours per class per week in the hired semester, and perform scholarly activities, quality instruction and public service commensurate with the mission of Texas Southern University.

Hiring Range:Commensurate with experience.
Education:A master's degree or Ph.D. degree in the Transportation field or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required to teach graduate-level courses with 15 years of experience related to Travel Demand Forecasting and Modeling Software, such as Cube, QRS, EMME2, etc.

Preference is given to candidates who have either working experience or teaching experience in the Travel Demand Forecasting field preferred.
