Job Description
The program manager will help develop and manage activities, budgets, and day-to-day functions of the Transforming Stories, Spaces, Lives ( TSSL) Project, working with faculty, students, and PIs. They will collect data, keep records, and maintain the project's webpage and social media accounts.

Position Responsibility

  • Manage the Humanities Hub space and equipment, including producing guidelines for use.
  • Support the PIs in keeping track of new and revised courses, coordinating student internships, setting up student research projects and public humanities projects, including partnerships with community organizations.
  • Support and coordinate the Mellon faculty working group's meetings each semester, including handling external speaker visits and public workshops (3-4 per year).
  • Keep track of the grant budget and finances and handle requests for payment of stipends, honoraria, reimbursements, wages.
  • Collect data and keep records for use in the TSSL external evaluation.
  • Assist PIs in outreach to faculty, students, community partners to promote engagement with the grant, including managing the webpage and social media accounts.
  • Assist in final reporting to the external evaluator and the Mellon foundation.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with equivalent of two years of relevant experience preferred; some experience in grant administration preferred.

Additional Job Details:
  • This is a fixed-term role expected to be funded until June 1, 2027. The position involves full-time work for 11 months of the year with a hybrid schedule.
