General Description / Primary Purpose:The Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Florida (UNF) invites applicants to apply for two tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics positions. As one of the largest departments at UNF the Department has over 30 faculty members and offers several undergraduate and graduate programs of study. Our students are able to pursue the following degrees; B. S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Sciences, Discrete Analysis and a B.A. in Mathematics, Statistics, and Applied Mathematics. In addition, the Department offers a graduate degree of Master of Science in Mathematical Sciences with both Mathematics and Statistics tracks.
Job Function:The job function of the professor includes but not limited to teaching, research and service.

Faculty Position Required Qualifications:At minimum, the candidate must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or equivalent field completed by August 1, 2024. Candidates will be expected to provide a demonstration of teaching effectiveness; present current research and articulate excellence in future scholarly agenda (field open).
