Description

The AVP, Sales Organizational Development will lead the existing sales training and education programs that establish the foundational skills, processes, and systems for all new and existing employees to increase sales effectiveness and build our sales culture.

This position will lead the established Sales Operations initiatives including Onboarding, Sales Certification, Sales Internship, and act as the Human Resource liaison.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages and directs sales certification program across all sales divisions
  • Leads trainings of core 8 Sales Process and 11 Sales Technologies
  • Organizes "Leaders to Teachers" to participate in training sessions
  • Communicates effectively to Sales Leadership, including but not limited to, Vice Presidents and AVPs
  • Conducts weekly Onboarding meetings and a 60-day assessment on behalf of Sales Operations
  • Promotes accountability and oversight culture through qualitative and quantitative assessment
  • Acts as liaison between Human Resources and Sales to enhance communication and exposure of initiatives
  • Communicates and collaborates with all departments related to change management protocol
  • Explores potential ways to expand the companies' direction/vision inside and outside the industry
  • Opportunity to lead and present content to sales teams that may require minimal travel


Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Demonstrated experience researching, designing, and implementing effective training and development programs and strategies
  • Skilled in engaging and motivating teams with varying levels of experience and skills
  • Ability to educate and present to small and large groups as well as at the individual level
  • Strong technology skills to learn new systems (Diver, ProSel, D365, etc...)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience and capability to build reports and read data
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Successful track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and goal oriented
  • Strong relationship building and organizational skills

Education/Experience/Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Adult Education, or related field required
  • Strong understanding of management, HR practices and motivational techniques
  • Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential or related certification preferred
  • Prior experience working in a Human Resources, Sales , or Learning and Development role preferred
  • Master's degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field a plus
