As the Associate Director of Reporting Strategy & Design, you'll be accountable for supporting the Reporting & Analytics needs for Respiratory, Immunology and Vaccine sales teams in the US BBU (Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit). The individual within this role will coordinate input from key team members to deliver field reporting and analytical insights that enable informed business decisions. The Associate Director, Reporting Strategy & Design will provide consultation to key customers to craft relevant reports and solutions to the salesforce and field leadership in support of defined brand and sales strategies.

What you'll do:

  • Drive the generation and management of reporting for assigned sales teams using knowledge of market dynamics within assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Proactively provide valuable insights with concrete rationale for commercial decisions ensuring consistent execution of brand strategy.
  • Proactively coordinate input from key stakeholders to complete analysis to develop reporting recommendations.
  • Perform continuous reviews of reporting business requirements to drive reporting simplification and standardization.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams within US Strategic Field Operations to coordinate business processes on joint initiatives.
  • Proactively craft value-added reporting designs aligned to defined business rationale to enable actionable insights for the field sales representatives and district managers.
  • Effectively collaborate with internal partners and external vendors.
  • Recommend innovative approaches to enhance process efficiencies.
  • Capture reporting requirements and desired outcomes, make recommendations and provide insights for assigned selling teams.
  • Primary support to ensure our sales force representatives and district managers have the reporting necessary to exceed business objectives.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to make current reporting processes more efficient and accurate.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with Commercial Alignment Leaders understand sales strategies, develop plans of action to deliver data and key insights that helps support brand initiative and drive business decisions.
  • Support the future reporting solution by implementing designs that are aligned to business requirements for each aligned TA.
  • Communicate realistic reporting expectations in a clear and concise manner to appropriate levels of the organization.
  • Drives continuous improvement of the sales reporting process, tools, and core capabilities.

Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of Pharma/Biotech/Healthcare commercial experience (Sales, sales reporting, sales management, marketing, training, etc.) in roles of increasing responsibility with consistent track record of performance.
  • Solid informal and formal communication skills including excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience interacting with management.
  • Experience with Microsoft office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Well-developed business insight and strategic agility
  • Able to develop and communicate timely business insights from the data, share and support insights.
  • Ability to think outside current processes and make recommendations.
  • Ability to lead initiatives across workstreams.
  • Strong people skills, mentoring skills, and a collaborative team player

Preferred Background
  • A Business and/or Sales background
  • Experience in brand team or field sales analytics
  • Experience managing strategic vendor partnerships.
  • Experience in report design and pharma data knowledge
  • Experience with Power BI reporting platform
