Associate, HR Business Partner

Basic Function

The Associate HR Business Partner provides HR support to a client group or multiple lines of business, with a focus on employee relations. Works directly with senior leadership teams and HR COE"S to deliver value-added HR solutions. Effectively executes employee relations, talent management, performance management, communications, compensation, employee engagement, and HR analytics within their assigned client group(s). Serves as a H.R. contact for managers and colleagues, along with serving as a liaison for an assigned team/group, as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes on strategies to attract, develop and retain top talent.
  • Consults with managers to ensure that HR programs, practices, and processes are executed effectively.
  • Provides employee relations coaching and counsel for managers and colleagues to ensure consistency of practice and policy interpretation, as well as mitigate legal risk.
  • Helps maximize the effectiveness of performance management; understands and leverages the linkage of business strategy, individual performance goals, and compensation.
  • Serves as a resource for overall HR support and initiatives.
  • Leverages HR Analytics to help drive effective LOB decisions on HR matters.
  • Effectively utilizes and partners with HR COE's to support client group business needs; assists in the communication and facilitation of compensation, benefits, training, talent management, performance management and other centralized HR services.

Experience
  • HR certification a plus
  • Strongly prefer at least 3-5 years of HR experience

  • Ability/preference to work in a full multi-tasking environment
