Who We Are:

Operating Systems Support Section - Section that provides Windows support to the SwRI administrative cost centers and to technical divisions as needed. The section is also responsible for managing the Windows Active directory, VMWare, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.

Objectives of this Role:

• Support in an Enterprise environment managing Windows Active Directory and Microsoft cloud infrastructure. Skills include provisioning and management of user and computer objects, management and troubleshooting of Windows and Azure cloud technologies.
• Monitoring and maintaining Windows servers, Active directory, and infrastructure hardware in an Enterprise environment.
• Monitoring and maintaining Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies in use by the organization.
• Support and maintenance of Windows technologies in use by the organization.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Maintaining existing Microsoft Windows technologies in use and other 3rd party Windows applications. Services include, but are not limited to, file sharing, Distributed File System, IIS web technologies, Print Services Management, and support of Configuration Manager.
• Maintaining and monitoring the health of Active Directory, in a multi-domain forest, to include GPOs.
• Monitoring and maintaining Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies.
• Maintaining Microsoft Windows servers and hardware.

Requirements:

• Requires an BS degree in IT or related with 1 year, experience. Those without a BS degree 5 years of professional level experience and technical Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate.
• (MCSA) and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or MS Azure certifications.
• 1 years: Microsoft Windows Server administration in support of Microsoft services in an enterprise environment.
• 1 years: Active Directory experience to include the creation and implementation of GPOs.
• 1 years: Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure or related cloud technologies such as AWS.
• A valid/clear driver's license is required.
