Autonomous Vehicle Field Support Specialist Funded (200 Mill) Pre-IPO Robotics & Autonomous Tech Co. Seeks Autonomous Vehicle Field Support Specialist! Clarksburg, MD!

We are a funded (200 Mill) robotics and autonomous technology company that has been in business for over 20 years that's looking to IPO soon! We are transforming government and commercial transportation with programs that include self-driving cars and trucks; autonomous shuttles; UAV; UAS; and drones. What You Need for this Position Ability to obtain government clearance
2+ years experience as a Field Support Specialist
Collect test data from vehicles
Analyze test data in the field using software tools developed in-house
Communicate issues back to the engineering team for further analysis and problem resolution
Load new software versions on vehicles to test new features, fix bugs, etc.
Troubleshoot hardware problems with sensors, computers, & cables
Document issues, track their status, and record their resolutions
Perform the initial commissioning of newly built robotic vehicles, as well as after deployments to streamline repairs and updates
Experience with command line Linux tools and system configuration required
Familiarity with Atlassian tools: Jira/Confluence/Crucible Electrical tools such as multi-meter and network cable testers
Travel Required - Up to 50% travel required for company events and deployment support
What You Will Be Doing Performs troubleshooting to determine and resolve issues, communicating resolutions to internal engineering and customers
Retrieve and organize vehicle data, escalating incidents to the engineering team
Reviewing site assessment reports, identifying risk and mitigations for deployment of autonomous vehicles to new locations
Maintain documentation of process and improvements to vehicle commissioning and deployments to increase efficiency of operations
Collaborate with software engineers and customers to determine site-specific risks and implement appropriate resolutions to ensure safe operation
Provide feedback to internal engineering to continually improve vehicle configuration, deployment, and operation processes
