We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious Billing Analyst to join a Wealth Management Firm in Newport Beach, CA.
Location: Newport Beach, CA
Payrate: $33-$34 an hour
Hours: M-F 8 am-5pm Onsite
The Billing Analyst will be responsible for calculating, invoicing, and collecting separate account revenue for all entities in Billing, Reporting and Cash Applications. High volume of work!
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and produce specialized fixed and incentive investment management fee invoices with impeccable accuracy.
- Provide accurate monthly revenue calculations to our Accounting partner for booking into the general ledger under tight deadlines. Conduct comprehensive variance analysis on month-over-month net accruals for accounts that deviate from tolerance levels.
- Respond to and resolve client inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Collect and analyze internal management reports for accuracy and completeness, performing independent and comprehensive analysis on delta reports.
- Collaborate with global colleagues in Legal, Account Management, Finance, and other departments to resolve billing issues promptly.
- Demonstrate strong computer literacy and the ability to navigate seamlessly between different applications.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Technology.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounting, and/or operations.
- Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply documented processes and procedures effectively.
- Intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative in personal and professional development through internal and external learning opportunities.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
