Broker Accounts Customer Service Representative

GFL Environmental is looking for a Broker Accounts Customer Service Representative to join our team out of our Raleigh office! The Broker Accounts Customer Service Representative will answer broker accounts customer calls and emails on a daily basis and assist in resolving any questions or concerns in a professional, expeditious manner while maintaining a positive, courteous approach to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism to all customers via in person, telephone or email
• Answer incoming and make outgoing telephone calls to customers, as well as, our Operations teams
• Serve as main contact and provide changes for Broker/Sales accounts
• Tower entry of service change for Broker/Sales accounts
• Track customer information, concerns, and enter data into database
• Provide contact research for all customer changes
• Provide timely and accurate information regarding missed stops or other customer concerns
• Download, distribute and answer all customer inquiries received via email
• Implement Broker/Sales account information to include any necessary correspondence, maintain hauler listing, location survey, pertinent notes, etc.
• Dispatch service orders to the branches
• Answer phones in rotation as needed
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One (1) to Two (2) years customer service call center experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to implement solutions to general and specific customer concerns.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good problem solving ability.
• Excellent data entry skills.
