Business Analyst/Data Analyst

LexisNexis Health Care is looking to hire a Business Analyst to join our Provider Data Intelligent Suite (PDIS) solutioning team. As a valued team member, you'll utilize your technical and analysis skills to build proof of valuable deliveries for potential clients utilizing the suite PDIS products: MasterFile, Provider Data Enhancements, ProviderPoint.

Business Analyst will work closely with our provider data solution consultants to take their requests, and completed the following:

  • Run queries on MasterFile referential data profiles to identify counts, stats, and validate findings (data validation through phone calls)
  • Execute provide data cleansing product(s) to identify value stats, validate key insight examples through phone calls, and summary pitch deck for solution consultants and sales team to deliver to potential clients.

Our team is creative, driven and focused on utilization of our provider data assets, analytics and services that allows customers to optimize data insights.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize strong SQL skills and Microsoft Excel to provide high quality data analysis and support to solution consultants, potential clients, and internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with solution consultant team to identify high quality value data points, populate tables, graphs and reporting to clearly illustrate that information and promote PDIS capabilities to potential clients. Ultimately drive sales by securing the solution fit in complex projects, aligned to the customer's needs.
  • Researches, gathers, and refines business requirements, performs data analysis; communicates effectively and proposes solutions; coordinates internal resources as needed
  • Provides product knowledge expertise and recommendations
  • Identifies and makes recommendations to leadership and product team on enhancements to product to better fit customer needs
  • Experiment with new ideas, contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and data insights to meet desired potential client needs.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years previous work experience within Healthcare, Customer Service, or Technical Support industries.
  • Sound technical knowledge.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and SQL database management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including articulating ideas and information
  • The ability to multitask effectively
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: BA/BS degree in Computer Science or Business discipline or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience with health care provider data
  • Python experience a plus
