Summary
The Business Development Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's business development strategy for the U.S. West Region comprising West Coast and select Mountain states for the heavy construction, tunnel, bridge, transit, ports, and water storage construction markets. The Business Development Lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive business relationships with clients and partners and for translating client objectives into successful business outcomes. As such, this individual must have related construction and/or engineering experience as well as experience with a variety of contract delivery methods, including design-build, construction management at-risk (CMAR / CMGC) and, ideally, experience with P3 or design-build-finance projects. The Business Development Lead will be responsible for market due diligence, prospecting for new work, opportunity origination, teaming strategies and will ultimately take a leadership role in supporting the preparation of statements of qualification, proposals, and presentations and in contract negotiations.
