The Business Development Representative is responsible for achieving meaningful customer engagement with targeted Major Accounts early in the sales cycle. The full Business Development cycle will require the deployment of all available sales and marketing tools and processes to make direct contact with identified leads/accounts, develop Sales- Ready Opportunities, and ensure sales coverage of those Opportunities in accordance with the strategies defined in their respective Account Development Plans. This position will be required to achieve quantified metrics concerning completed calls and conversations and maintain a quota of new Sales-Ready Opportunities to assign to Major Account Managers and dealers.
