Put a LIFT in Your Career! Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Business Development Representative at our facility located in Greenville, NC. .

The Business Development Representative is responsible for achieving meaningful customer engagement with targeted Major Accounts early in the sales cycle. The full Business Development cycle will require the deployment of all available sales and marketing tools and processes to make direct contact with identified leads/accounts, develop Sales- Ready Opportunities, and ensure sales coverage of those Opportunities in accordance with the strategies defined in their respective Account Development Plans. This position will be required to achieve quantified metrics concerning completed calls and conversations and maintain a quota of new Sales-Ready Opportunities to assign to Major Account Managers and dealers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Use all available tools, in accordance with Account Development plans, to establish meaningful contact with target Customers early in the sales cycle. Maintain a quota of new Sales-Ready opportunities.
  • Execute defined sales programs and campaigns
  • Work closely with Major Accounts and Industry Strategy teams to execute planned programs to generate demand.
  • Analysis and execution of targeted Major Accounts.
  • Conduct effective, innovative, accurate, and timely analysis generated using available systems in order to satisfy the market needs of identified Major Account opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience
  • 1-3 years of work experience in customer relationship management, sales, or marketing. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, - 2 year degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience. No degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Product Suite).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and/or sales engagement platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to drive prioritization and action of business reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for business relationship building.
