Business Insurance Account Manager

The Account Manager will assist their team in managing, marketing and servicing clients' needs on an ongoing basis. This position also requires servicing select accounts with minimal to no oversight.

We will count on you to do the following:

• Utilize and manage ImageRight tasks
• Understand general insurance accounting, including client invoicing and allocations
• Delegate as appropriate
• Produce reports utilizing Mod Master and Loss Forecasting
• Demonstrated understanding of when to proceed alone and when to involve the Account Executive, Producer or others
• Willingness and ability to expand knowledge by successful completion of educational opportunities related to insurance
• Participate in the new business marketing process as directed by Producer/Account Executive
• Check the work processed by Account Associate or others as directed by Account Executive or Unit Manager
• Manage the premium financing process
• Make positive contribution to customer satisfaction and constantly strives to improve service to the customer
• Protect the confidentiality of all client information
• Prepare written correspondence, reports and analyses, accurately and timely as needed
• Attend unit meetings, educational workshops, carrier functions, staff meetings, and social events, as needed
• Review and provide feedback on insurance language in client contracts
• Create, market and service the insurance needs of certain selected clients with minimal oversight

What you need to have:

• Property and Casualty Agent License (active status) in Georgia
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a business related field, or equivalent experience in the industry
• Four to six years of experience in the insurance industry
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software applications
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of commercial property/casualty coverages and services
