Overview
Summary of Responsibilities:

Leverages technical skills along with understanding of business strategies, priorities and initiatives to provide actionable reports, dashboards, data analysis tools and CRM capabilities that empower business decision-makers and business users to gain insights and make strategic business decisions. Responsible for leading or participating in requirements, design, development, testing, training, and production support across these solutions. Serves as the subject matter expert for multiple business units across the enterprise and various data sources used in reporting. Demonstrates an understanding of multiple databases, data flows and relationships across various sources. Builds collaborative relationships and communicates effectively with business and IT leaders, project team members and vendors to assure project success. Solves moderately complex business and technical problems. Responds with flexibility to changing priorities or new project assignments as they arise throughout the year. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible to make an established range of decisions. Escalates to management when necessary and updates management on a regular basis.

Position Responsibilities:

Qualifications
Selection Criteria:
  • 2-4 years of experience in SQL, relational database knowledge, reporting, business intelligence and CRM
  • Demonstrated moderate experience with query tools and relational
  • Beginner to moderate experience with business intelligence and CRM
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business strategies and establish appropriate priority across multiple
  • Proven experience successfully communicating with all levels of associates, including executives and developing relationships with business and IT
  • Proven experience delivering reports, dashboards and visualizations to business
  • Demonstrated ability to respond in a positive, professional manner to multiple deadlines and shifting
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and solving problems
  • Proven strong analytical skills that demonstrate experience troubleshooting, assessing impact, quantifying problems and providing effective Must cite examples of sound decision-making when dealing with multiple alternatives or solutions.
Work Setting:
  • This position works primarily in an office setting and requires being in a stationary position for long periods of time frequently while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in Position requires frequent movement of wrists, hands and fingers for continuous computer work.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate selection criteria
Computer Skills and Knowledge of Hardware & Software Required:
  • Moderate SQL (Oracle, SQL Server) and relational database knowledge
  • Beginner BI/reporting tool knowledge required (Tableau, Cognos, Crystal Reports, )
  • Exposure to CRM tools such as SalesPage, Salesforce,
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, database and report development
  • Exposure to basic ETL and Dimensional Data Modeling
  • Experience in the financial services industry

Certifications & Licenses (i.e., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.):
  • Tableau, Cognos or CRM certifications preferred but not
