The Business Process Analyst will be responsible for enterprise process improvements and will manage the business process lifecycle from current state, redesign, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement. The incumbent will be assigned multiple work-streams and will be responsible for developing detailed business requirements documents, creating use cases, documenting current and future state process flows, and evaluating and implementing improvements to business systems and processes across the bank. The Business Process Analyst will lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) interviews with process owners to understand, document and analyze current state processes and business requirements. The Business Process Analyst will evaluate and analyze internal processes, procedures, and technology to identify gaps, recommend enhancements, optimization, and automation opportunities for sustainable and scalable change. The Business Process Analyst will facilitate process workshops and actively collaborate with business and IT groups to capture business process models. The Business Process Analyst is responsible for working with internal business systems to monitor, measure and providing feedback on process performance, including defining measurements to successfully support the Bank's goals and objectives. The incumbent will need to stay up to date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems, as well as benchmark approaches against the latest changes and standards in the field.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm position, located at our office located in Philadelphia, PA. The position will have a hybrid work schedule of 2 to 3 days a week in the office and 2 to 3 days a week working remote.

The hired candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without an employer-sponsored petition for a visa, such as an H-1B visa. WSFS Bank does not intend to file any visa applications in connection with this opening.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical or business or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working as a business analyst, prior banking and/or financial services experience preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of major banking principles, processes, and technologies with experience modifying banking applications.
  • Demonstrated prior experience analyzing business processes and recommending improvements
  • Familiarity with Business Process Management, BPMN preferred; Process Modeling tool experience preferred (such as LucidChart, Signavio or ARIS)
  • Proficient in business flow diagramming
  • RPA experience a plus
  • Ability to understand cross-functional systems and technical requirements to determine best process solutions
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Displays effective and professional written, verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Demonstrated aptitude for creativity and complex problem-solving, developing approaches to solve problems; formalizing plans to address issues.
