Blue Cross of Idaho is looking for a Business Program Manager to implement and administer programs, typically consisting of multiple projects or sub-projects within the Member Services business areas (Customer Service, Claims and Enrollment & Billing). This role will report to the VP, Member Services and will partner to drive and implement strategies for the business unit. This role is responsible for planning, governance, and oversight of the successful delivery of the programs.

The position is located in Meridian, Idaho. Hybrid work schedule is supported. #LI-Hybrid

To be considered for this opportunity, you have:

  • Experience: 5 years' health related, business process and analysis, project management or related experience
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)

To be successful in this role you have:
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (including PowerPoint)
  • Executive presence
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work in a complex and dynamic team environment
  • Lead complex, segment-oriented initiatives through cross-functional areas

In this role, we will ask you to:
  • Have direct responsibility for ongoing policy development, interpretation, enforcement, and/or application analyses.
  • Handle communications and decisions related to the Program and other functions, as applicable.
  • Oversee mandates/initiatives related to Program initiatives, operations, financial settlements, membership, attribution, and reporting.
  • Oversee Programs performance measurements and ensures action plans are in place, as needed.
  • Evaluate program efficiency by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics.
  • Ensure that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and relevant external regulations.
  • Provide reports and updates to senior management or other partners.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
