Business Systems Analyst I

Works under the direction of more senior IT team members; provides assistance with the IT support of various business units while ensuring that technology solutions and systems align with the needs and objectives of the business and organization; works closely with business owners and IT team members to assess, document business processes/requirements, recommend process improvements and document system processes; performs lower level and routine software design, configuration, testing and support activities for a wide range of software applications.
Starting salary for this position is $64,589 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Education and Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field; or
2. Associates degree in computer science, engineering, data science, management information systems or a related field and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time computer systems or business systems analyst experience; or
3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma with a diploma or certificate in a computer science, or related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time computer systems or business systems analyst experience.
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
The preferred candidate will have experience preforming application development and support, experience in development of operations solutions where needed, gathering requirements for and assist with application based testing and reviews and assists with analysis of complex and integrated systems for Lab based efforts. In addition they will have experience meeting with personnel from other department to perform feasibility or requirement gathering for projects, act as an IT technical resource in the business areas we support, assist where needed in a variety of IT Lab related tasks and projects as needed and experience with analysis and design of integrated lab systems.
