The Carrier Commissions Revenue Analyst plays a key role in processing all incoming cash from the company's carrier partners. Responsibilities include creating templates in Excel to be used for uploading sales commissions into HPOne's finance system, coding incoming payments from carriers to ensure appropriate allocation of cash received and reaching out to Insurance Carriers, both in writing and verbally to resolve commission statement issues that arise when processing templates. The Carrier Commissions Revenue Analyst will be an integral member of our dynamic and growing Finance and Accounting team.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Create templates for commission statements
  • Assist in pulling statements in excel format for each payment received via emails, carrier portals, and FTP sites
  • Proper coding of commission payments between new and renewal cash
  • Follow up with carriers for missing commission information/statements
  • Identify and research irregularities in carrier statements regarding commission payments
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate degree
  • One year of accounting/finance experience
  • Advanced excel experience including VLOOKUP, macros, pivot tables and basic formulas
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience working with Xactly or other sales performance management system

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, typically in a cubicle environment (constant noise, fluorescent overhead lighting)
