Job Summary

This position is responsible for generating and analyzing supply chain data (historical and future spend trends, supply market intel, manufacturing, logistics etc.) to assist the purchasing organization in the development of forward-looking category sourcing strategies aligned with business needs and supply market conditions across all CCM locations. Using data analytics, this position is also responsible for identifying and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities within the assigned categories of products/services. This includes working with other departments and divisions within CCM to identify and address areas for improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Analyze historical and forecasted spend by categories and sub-categories of products to support commodity and sourcing strategies/opportunity identification
* Monitor KPIs and identify focus areas for improvement (Single/Sole Source Risks, On-Contract spend, Supplier Scorecards etc.)
* Categories spend/savings/forecast - Deliver robust periodic reports for spend, savings, market inflation, supplier performance etc.
* Study market dynamics at a sub-category level - Anticipated market headwinds (inflation, supply disruptions, global logistics challenges, competitor supply analysis, supplier capacities, etc.) - Feed this intel on a continuous basis to the sourcing organization to assist in developing risk mitigation strategies.
* Sub-category level cost models indexed to standard market indices (price escalation/de-escalations, negotiations)
* Spend analytics support on sourcing projects (RFX packages, Bid analysis etc.)
* Assist with data maintenance- maintain material/vendor data, Supplier Contracts, other sourcing data throughout the ERP system.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders providing analytics on focused business areas.

Education and Experience:

* A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in the areas of data analytics, supply chain and/or procurement

Travel Requirement:

* Up to 15% occasional travel could be required.
