Clinic hours: 7:00-5:00pm- flexible work shifts (8 hours)- some weekend health events may be required. No Nights required.
Clinic locations: Downtown Atlanta and Chamblee, Georgia.

POSITION SUMMARY: Charge Nurse is responsible for the direction, organization, and supervision of the clinical staff, which typically includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs). The clinical manager will also aid in the coordination of nursing efforts to measure the effectiveness of patient care by quality standards.
The Responsibilities of a Charge Nurse
The Charge Nurse will work with clinical leaders and management teams to support the overall direction of the organization, as well as encourage, and monitor performance at the unit or department level. Other key responsibilities include the provision of feedback and mentoring to clinical and support staff, contribution to staff professional development, interviewing and hiring nurses and medical assistants, adhering to departmental budgets, and maintaining inventory of medications, equipment and supplies. Charge Nurse may also speak on behalf of their nursing staff when upper management is making decisions that affect the nursing unit. The clinical nurse manager serves as a representative and promotes the best interests of their staff and the patients that they care for.
