We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to build a world-class IT organization within Oliver Wyman Group (OWG) and support Marsh McLennan's enterprise-wide technology innovation and development agenda. The CIO will work closely with business and IT stakeholders across OWG to understand their needs, develop innovative solutions, and deliver new products/tools and operational improvements that will enhance employee productivity and client satisfaction.

This individual is responsible for all aspects of our information technology and systems at OWG, is technically savvy and operationally fluent with the ability to pivot from strategic to tactical. This role will lead a global team, setting high performance expectations and building the environment for success. The role will also be a key voice in helping us balance quality, speed, resilience, and cost in our technology ecosystem.

The OWG CIO reportsjointly to the CIO of Marsh McLennan, the parent company of OWG, and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of OWG. The OWG CIO is a key contributor to the vision and strategy for technology at Marsh McLennan and also the principal driver of IT strategy and planning for OWG. The CIO is expected to partner with central teams and functions, including Infrastructure, Security, Tech Transformation, and others, to deliver solutions for OWG that leverage the full capabilities of our global firm.

The OWG CIO is a member of the Marsh McLennan Technology Leadership Team (TLT), OW Support Leadership Team (SLT), and OW Technology Operating Committee. This role has shared accountabilities to the Marsh McLennan Chief Information Officer and to OW's Chief Operating Officer.

Key Responsibilities

In partnership with enterprise-wide teams and functions, the OWG CIO will lead the development and execution of OWG's technology strategy and roadmap in support of key business priorities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Strategic and technical leadership, including innovation and digital transformation • User experience optimization, including tech adoption and change management

• Technology risk management, including cyber security and privacy

• Budget management and ROI optimization

• Overseeing the coordination with centralized functions such as Information Security, DevOps, Development COE, Infrastructure, and others typical for a large company

• Oversee the delivery of top-notch IT services

• Team leadership and development

• Maintaining a relevant external network to stay on top of the latest trends.

Experience Required

• Experience as a CIO or in another senior IT leadership role, preferably in the professional or financial services industries

• Proven experience in strategic planning and execution, performance management, and service delivery

• Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels in a matrixed organization

• Broad experience managing diverse areas of information technology, including applications, infrastructure, security, IT governance, internal controls, budgeting, and vendor management functions

• Successful track record of driving technology innovation and digital transformation in support of the business

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage well at all levels in the organization

All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person. office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. The applicable base salary range for this role is $226,000 to $338,900.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
