Position Duties:
Operate multiple CNC Lathes (Doosan Lynx 220, Puma 240) for the manufacturing of Class A wheel bearings. Setup and operate lathes per setup sheets and engineering routing instructions such as reading of blue prints. Secures first article to verify established set-up and continues to check parts for conformance to production standards during the first course of the run. Uses precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers and various gages to check work after each operation. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communication actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years CNC lathe Machinist
Experience with Doosan 220 & Puma 240 and G codes
Capable to performing First Article inspections.
Proficient utilizing calipers, micrometers, dial bore gages comparators, height gages, and other measuring instruments
