Basic Job Functions:
The Cold Mill Metallurgist is an integral part of the Cold Mill team, responsible for working with our teammates to create solutions in the areas of safety, profitability and teammate development. This position is actively involved in the decision making of the process and product quality, strives for continuous improvement and supports the production team. As a technical resource, this individual will be directly involved with developing the specific trainings and communications required to expand the knowledge of our team, our partners and customers.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
