No Relocation Assistance Offered The Communications Coordinator is responsible for executing integrated internal communication programs that support our growth priorities and values. This position is critical to enhancing employee engagement and connecting our people to our strategy and purpose. The role partners closely with the Associate Manager and Associate Director to design and execute internal communications for company priorities and programs in a way that engages employees, builds awareness and drives action. This highly-organized, proactive, experienced and creative individual will interface with internal clients, Global Information Technology, vendors, communication contacts in our subsidiaries, executive admins and senior management. Job Responsibilities Maintain editorial calendar for our internal vehicles and manage submissions for story ideas from employees Manage communications software platforms and programs and work in an agile manner to post and share content across vehicles as well as capture timely and relevant analytics Maintain cross functional relationships with our company purpose team, social media team as well as global HR, global IT, global Marketing to communicate messages and share content that inspires and informs our employees. News gathering and reporting for employee events for our weekly U.S. newsletter as well as our global newsletter, C-P Talks. Support includes gathering visuals, ensuring appropriate access to videos and supporting resources and fact checking with subject matter experts and legal. Support for virtual and live company events, including promotion, invites, post event surveys and additional follow-up, and other logistics to conduct a successful event. Partner with IT, take a leadership role in establishing a digital workplace for news, repositioning our intranet as the destination site for news, corporate messaging and implement creative communication ideas to more effectively connect Colgate People Partner with global functions, find opportunities to extend external news and events for employees, including coordinating speakers and events as appropriate Serve as point person for coordinating internal recognition programs, local events and large meetings at headquarters in NY, including the communication and promotion Identify opportunities on how external initiatives can be celebrated internally and how internal initiatives can be celebrated externally Gather information, help develop and implement internal storytelling ideas and vehicles Manage content for digital signage at headquarters and across Colgate facilities worldwide Maintain resources and guidelines on intranet, templates, guidelines for communications Be comfortable working in a fast-moving organization while maintaining an eye for accuracy and detail Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 3 years of experience developing communications plans and PR programs 5+ years professional experience in a global communications role, whether agency or corporate Skills & Experience Public Relations experience that includes program development and execution Digitally savvy with strong knowledge and past use of social media platforms. Leadership experience as a connector and manager of teams and committees Detail-oriented and enjoys learning and experimenting with new technologies Highly creative thinker that can bring to life messages, ideas, and programs in new ways that resonate with internal audiences Possesses good judgement and knows when to bring in other people and identifies and raises issues Experience working with intranet platforms and large email distribution technologies Facile with Google Suite, including Sheets, Google Slides as well as Microsoft Excel Project management experience and attention to detail Ability to work in New York City office or remotely A self-starter who is proactive, responsive, high energy, creative, collaborative Develop good relationships across teams and departments and the ability to confidently and clearly explain communications ideas and theme Equal Opportunity Employer Are you interested in working for Colgate-Palmolive?
