Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for providing Quality Systems support functions for biological Operations at the White Hall site by conducting local self-inspection processes, performing batch record reviews, and ensuring compliance to applicable regulatory requirements and product registrations.

Hours: 1st shift, will require flexibility for off-shift and weekend coverage.

Position Responsibilities

Perform internal audits of manufacturing operations to ensure compliance with corporate and GMP/ regulatory requirements. Perform inspection readiness activities and provide Quality Assurance support during Corporate and Regulatory inspections. Write audit reports with observations and action items including signfigance of findings. Provide guidance on issues such as deviations and non-conformances resulting from an audit or regulatory inspections. Monitor system performance through applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and report performance to leadership. Perform routine batch record review within established timelines, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and product registrations. Support Quality Control testing including environmental montoring and in-process antigens testing. Provide guidance to ensure new and existing environmental monitoring and in-process testing programs align with Zoetis Quality Standards. Support other quality systems and projects as needed.

Education and Experience

Job level based on years of relevant experience:

For the GJL 040-1 level

Associate Degree with 2 years of progressive experience at the OTE Lead level or above, in Manufacturing or Quality Operations.

For the GJL 060-1 level

Bachelor's degree with 2 - 4 years' experience in Manufacturing or Quality Operations.

Technical Skills and Competencies Required

  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisor
  • Expresses a positive attitude can demonstrate initiative
  • Interpersonal skills to include verbal, non-verbal and written communication with co-workers in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience with / understanding SAP
  • Experience with / understanding of APHIS Outlines of Production / Special Outlines.
  • Experience with / understanding of biological antigen & vaccine manufacturing.

Preferred:
  • Experience performing internal audits
  • Experience with / understanding of 9CFR & 21CFR requirements.
  • Experience with QA release functions in SAP

Physical Position Requirements

This position will support White Hall manufacturing. This position includes a significant amount of time spent sitting / working at a computer and processing paperwork. Position may require secondary gowning qualification.

This position will require periodic weekend and off-shift work.
