The Contractor Technical Recruiter performs various duties that primarily supports the talent acquisition function related to Engineering and IT positions. This position is great for someone that embraces the challenge of identifying top talent.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Communicate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and the best strategy for fulfilling those needs
  • Source passive candidates using a variety of tools and best practices
  • Take actions that build a talent pipeline for future open positions
  • May conduct phone-screens and manage the entire interview process including scheduling and coordinating interviews with hiring managers
  • May process offers and conduct pre-employment screening of candidates
  • Assist with advertising opportunities
  • Be a trusted talent acquisition partner by staying aware of recruitment trends and best practices
  • Assist in building partnerships with local colleges and universities including participation in career fairs and campus events
What We're Looking For
  • 5-7 years of technical recruitment experience (Engineering & IT positions)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and recruiting passive candidates
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Familiarity with employment laws relevant to the recruiting process
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to act with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of HR data
  • Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with ATS systems
  • Understanding of recruiting tools and Job boards/websites such as Indeed, LinkedIn and others
  • Ability to interact positively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
