POSITION SUMMARY

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc (MEPPI) is looking for a Corporate Marketing Director to lead our corporate marketing organization regarding the creation, implementation, and management of MEPPI�s marketing strategies and initiatives. In this role you will perform inbound industry research and analysis to provide actionable intelligence for identifying new product and market opportunities. In addition, you will perform outbound marketing communications programs and campaigns, digital media, trade events, product launches and pricing strategies supporting corporate sales.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead and manage the research, collection and analysis of customer feedback and market trend data to identify new product and service offerings. Collaborate with Corporate Development and the operating divisions in their strategic planning activities to acquire or develop and then deliver these new products and services.
  • Lead and manage the Company�s transition to digital marketing and selling, including brand management, website management, and social media channels
  • Provide a leadership role and collaborate closely with Sales and IT in deploying a customer relationship management (CRM) system companywide.
  • Manage the research, development and distribution of weekly communications containing analysis and actionable intelligence on market and industry trends, competition, regulatory changes and new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the growth, distribution and maintenance of the market intelligence library and work with operating divisions to provide information used in the development of their product and business strategies.
  • Manage internal and third-party research projects with outside firms in support of corporate and operating division needs.
  • Manage direct reports according to Company policies and procedures to effectively achieve Company and department objectives. Develop employees by training, cross-training and providing continuing education opportunities. Conduct annual performance reviews and provide input for salary decisions.
  • Create, promote and manage the team responsible for the creation and distribution of outgoing marketing communications including customer-facing websites, digital marketing domains, press releases, social media and analyst relations. Enhance brand identity and effectively communicate it to all stakeholders.
  • Develop and lead the strategy for product launches to meet financial and strategic objectives according to the MEPPI standards and marketing product launch process.
  • Collaborate with operating divisions and departments to develop and gain approval of annual marketing communications and promotions plans, marketing budgets, staffing plans and an annual events calendar.
  • Develop objectives and execute strategy for trade and customer events to ensure positive exposure for all MEPPI products and services.
  • Oversee the development of weekly and monthly reports on analytics, sales and marketing results, product launch successes and sales campaign successes.
  • Function as the organization�s primary communications leader, assisting with press releases, executive media opportunities and press/public relations. Serve as MEPPI�s public relations representative as needed.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and manage pricing strategies based on customer criteria and competitive analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate marketing and branding standards.
  • Participate in Company-level planning process and company-level deliberations and decisions as requested.
  • Lead and perform Company-level special projects and assignments.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings with Senior Staff.
  • Further the goals and positive, professional image of the MEPPI by conducting business with outside contacts and MEPPI divisions in a timely and cooperative manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master�s of Business Administration with a minimum 10 years of experience managing a marketing organization in a business-to-business technology company, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with a marketing strategy consulting firm working with companies to transition their marketing research and marketing communications activities to a more digital environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of the development, deployment and tracking of effective marketing research and communications programs through print, the press, the Web and additional social media outlets.
  • Advanced knowledge of product marketing and new product launches.
  • Ability to set strategic direction, create comprehensive, integrated marketing programs and monitor progress.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required to conduct customer meetings and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to travel docestically and internationally up to 30% of the time as required.
