POSITION PURPOSE:

The Corporate Quality Systems Manager has two primary responsibilities; Develop various quality applications and enable a reporting infrastructure to conduct analysis of quality data in order to improve the overall customer experience. Quality applications are administered in externally purchased as well as internally developed IT systems and cover the entire spectrum of quality processes such as document control, customer experience issues, scrap, supplier quality management, audits, waivers, corrective actions, calibration and change management.

Experience


* Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience or quality engineering experience


* Work experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
* Successful track record of working in a team environment
* Experience with Oracle Cloud, Sales Force, SharePoint, PowerBI and Qualtrics (or similar tools) is preferred

Skills


* Basic personal computer skills in a networked environment a plus, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) are required
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common training and technical journals and statistical reports
* Basic and advanced math skills, including the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret graphs and diagrams
* Listen and communicate effectively with internal clients and employees
* Develop presentations to be delivered to employee groups and management
* Ability to identify root cause and develop permanent solution action steps

Education


* A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or business management or related field is preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


* Understand Current Reality of Quality Business Processes and identify improvement opportunities.
* Collaborate with functional areas such as IT, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing to develop systems and drive operational improvements.
* Gather requirements and specifications from stakeholders to simplify and improve data collection. Identify or develop systems when necessary to meet stakeholders’ requirements.
* Identify all relevant data streams that impact operations from internal to external data sources.
* Perform activities to plan, design, develop, implement, integrate, test, document, and maintain quality data systems.
* Develop Key Performance Indicators and metrics to measure targets and develop appropriate mechanisms to communicate key data to drive improvements or correct issues.
* Create dashboards to help show areas requiring improvements.
* Develop and implement a robust data governance program to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
* Provide support for key initiatives or projects by solving complex data challenges.


* Perform other duties as directed
* Supervisory Responsibilities:


* This position may supervise salaried personnel in the assigned department.



SCOPE & EXPECATIONS:


* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit
* The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
* Typical indoor office environment with the ability to work in a manufacturing environment and use all required PPE.
* Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
* This specific job requires visual capability to critically evaluate color and cosmetics of our products
* Reports to: Director of Quality Systems
* Occasional weekend work may be required.
* Travel Requirements:


* Frequent travel of 25%-50% can be expected
* Recruitment process may consist of any combination of phone, video and in person interviews.
