Cost Accounting Manager

Our client is a growing privately held biotech company using technology to improve lives. Seeking a top performing, experienced Cost Accounting Manager for a 6 month contract reporting directly to the CFO. This is a high visibility role with the opportunity to convert to permanent for the right individual. The company boasts friendly and fun work enviroment and strong reputation for excellence.

Cost Accounting Manager

Hybrid 2 days per week in office with flexibility towards remote

$65-70/hour + 1.5 OT

Responsibilities:

• Implement cost accounting system
• Work with ERP system, Netsuite to go live with cost module
• Implement proper set up and calculation of cost standards
• Provide calculations and formulas for variance analysis
• Determine proper Overhead rates and related accounts
• Develop and document proper inventory procedures
• Train accounting staff regarding proper cost accounting procedures

Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or business related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Strong cost accounting background and ERP system experienc
