American Welding & Gas is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative in our Indianapolis, IN location.

Our Customer Service Representatives (CSR) provide superior service exceeding customer expectations. The CSR will focus on the specific needs of each customer, every time, directly and with the support of other team members, to promote long-term relationships and an outstanding customer service experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Process incoming telephone calls, faxes, emails and provide a variety of services to customers
• Directly address customer requests/concerns for the company and/or efficiently route those inquiries accordingly
• Accurate and efficient entry and distribution of all customer orders
• Daily sales entry
• A/R collection calls
• Participate in self-directed work team environment
• Additional duties and special research or administrative projects as assigned

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• HS diploma or GED
• At least one year of Customer Service/Operations Support preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (specifically Outlook and Excel)
• Adapt easily to new software, multiple information management dashboards
• Work Schedule 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
