What You Will Be Doing The data analyst role is responsible for performing any combination of duties relating to the collection, storage, design, analysis, and reporting of sales, purchasing, product, production and other company data. This position reports directly to the CFO, but will also work directly with departments and project leads to create solid analyses and visuals providing an easy understanding of data. This role is best suited for a creative analyst who can take requirements and turn them into effective solutions. The ideal person for this role must work well within a team, have excellent communication skills, positive attitude and be agile in a demanding environment.

-Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
-Developing reports and analysis for company and departmental purposes
-Managing master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
-Identification and reporting of trends & areas for improvement
-Managing users and user roles.
-Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
-Commissioning and decommissioning of data sets.
-Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
-Supporting the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
-Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
-Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
-Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
-Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
-Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
-Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
