Data Migration Project Manager

Salary: $67.00 USD Hourly - $77.00 USD Hourly
Description: Job Summary: As a Data Migration Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing data migration projects resulting from mergers and acquisitions. Your first project will be on transitioning from the ERP system called Tack to EMCS Rower. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless data migration and alignment with business objectives.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

ERP Data Migration:

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects related to ERP systems.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define migration scope, timelines, and success criteria.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity during the migration process.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with existing team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure team cohesion.

Project Planning and Execution:

• Utilize project management tools (such as Monday.com) to plan, track, and manage project tasks.
• Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address issues.

Technology Transition:

• Assist in the transition from Slack to Microsoft Teams for internal communication and collaboration.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing data migration projects, especially within ERP environments.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• PMP certification is a plus.
