Job Description

As the Data Validation Coordinator, you will be responsible forefficiently and effectively reviewing & validatingthe self-assessment questionnaire submissions of supplier organizations against a set of agreed criteria/program rules. If gaps are identified, then the SAQ will be rejected back to the supplier with an explanation of how to improve evidence of compliance. Direct supplier support by voice and email (& chat) will be required. Full management of service level agreements to suppliers and wider program reporting. It is the purpose of this role to ensure that the supplier data within the SGS Transparency-One program is as up-to-date and accurate as possible.
Review and validation of Supplier submissions of Self-Assessment Questionnaire. Supplier engagement to support a better understanding of the process and ways for suppliers to demonstrate compliance to buyer requirements. The role is to flag inaccuracies within the SAQ, validating Certificates and other information - requiring accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Review Supplier SAQ submission for accuracy, quality, and authenticity.
  • Engage with suppliers verbally and via written communication to resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies within the SAQ.
  • Highlight incomplete data fields within the SAQ and work with the supplier to resolve them.
  • Ensure the submission is in line with program (client) expectations and requirements.
  • Any other task to ensure customer data is progressed at any other stage of the supplier process.
  • Identify any problems or issues within the supplier process and escalate as required.
  • Support in the monitoring of documents approaching expiry.
  • Support the identification of suppliers requiring renewal process.
  • Maintain an accurate and up to date contact log of all customer communication using appropriate back-office tools.


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, data validation, or similar roles.
  • Experience/understanding of HSEQ management systems and terminology.
  • Engages in on-the-job learning.
  • Maintains knowledge onrelevant industry, organizational, technical, or professional publications, relevant to their role.
  • Attends training courses to develop their knowledge.
  • Actively learns from others within their own function or team.
