Be a part of cutting-edge research, engage with professionals who share your passion, and create work you can be proud of. As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will contribute to the success of the organization by performing one or more of the following:

• Work with research and graphics staff to create and process figures, graphs, charts, and illustrations for use in technical reports.
• Conceptualize ways to present data through infographics, charts, graphs, maps, and interactive visualizations.
• Utilize high attention to detail to ensure accuracy, consistency, clarity, and timeliness of processed figures.
• Develop and maintain a searchable database of figures and infographics.
• Produce innovative, accurate, and high-quality work, adhering to EERC branding standards.

• Ability to work quickly and accurately with great attention to detail and an eye for consistency.
• Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written).
• Self-starter, motivated, strong problem-solving skills, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively, solve problems, and make sound decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, geography, data visualization, computer science, or related fields.
• Experience in one or more of the following software programs: Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or AutoCad or equivalent software.
• Experience creating charts, graphs, or infographics to communicate technical concepts.
• Experience producing high-quality and visually appealing visualizations.
• Cover letter and resume.
• A sample of previous work may be requested.
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

• 2 or more years professional work experience in data visualization or related field.
• Experience creating 3D illustrations and graphs.
• Experience with creating charts or graphs in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with 3D Max (or equivalent software).
• Experience with GIS/mapping technologies, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or others.
