Designer Internship

Overview

i3 is offering a part-time internship position within our Virtual Training, Simulation, and Gaming business unit. This candidate will be exposed to the development of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) within an Agile software development environment. This candidate will interact with Instructional Systems Designers (ISD), 3D Artists, Software Developers, Designers, and Program Managers in support of DOD training development.
Responsibilities

This internship will be for the duration of the Summer period. The candidate will work with Agile software development teams in creating IMI for DOD customers.
Qualifications

Education, Experience and Required skills:

• High school diploma
• Candidate must have completed at least 2 years of higher education, job experience can be substituted for education
• Candidate must be a team player and be creative, adaptive, and excited to learn

Preferred Experience/Skills:

• Knowledge and/or experience with design and rapid prototyping tools such as, but not limited to, Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch, Avocode, Zeplin, and more
• Knowledge and/or experience with essential design principles, like how to reproduce key art, designing within the confines of a style and branding guide, and ability to estimation time for a design task
• If available, an example portfolio - not required, though!
