What You Will Do

As a Product Engineer within Panduit's Industrial Electrical Infrastructure (IEI) Business Unit, you'll spearhead the enhancement and support of diverse products crucial for cable management and identification. Operating from our Cumming, GA facility, you'll collaborate globally, driving product design, cost efficiency, and compliance while ensuring top-tier customer support.

  • Project Management: Develop and uphold comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Product Design Enhancement: Employ CAD design, prototyping, and verification to refine product designs.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with global manufacturing operations and suppliers to implement changes, process enhancements, and cost reductions.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and execute initiatives to reduce product costs.
  • Materials and Technology Research: Investigate materials and technologies pertinent to product enhancement, including polymers, metals, films, adhesives, and printers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Oversee compliance activities to ensure adherence to regulatory and standards requirements.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute product and reliability test plans, adhering to formal verification and validation processes.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical assistance, address quality concerns, and resolve product application queries, bolstering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering plus 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in project planning and execution
  • Experienced in sustaining product support, including customer, supplier, and manufacturing interactions
  • Skilled in developing and executing product test plans
  • Strong in root cause analysis, data analysis, and problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Preferred: experience in new product development/manufacturing
  • Familiarity with CAD design, Siemens NX a bonus
  • Competent in control documentation development and enhancement
