What We Are Looking For

Located at our state-of-the-art Jack. E. Caveney Innovation Center (JECIC) facility, the incoming Development Engineer - Power Systems will join a collaborative team that supports product development for power electronic products.

A strong engineer that works on components of an engineering project also managing small to medium projects in scope from start to finish. This includes: preparing models, conducting experiments, analysis, and evaluation of results to Prove a Concept prior to handoff to a development team area to actual design and development of products (ranging from mechanical systems, electronics componentry, software intelligence, electro-mechanical systems, etc.) and ability to scale development for mass production(s).

What You Will Do
  • Develop product specifications and support product development for power electronic products.
  • Develop product specifications and support product development for sensors and low voltage electronic components.
  • Support development of power based PCBA.
  • Support development of electronic test fixtures.
  • Provide root cause analysis for Field Returns.
What You Will Bring
  • Required Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-4 years' experience in electrical engineering related field.
  • Experience in product development of 208V/415V AC Power Electronics
  • Embedded system design experience.
  • Experience with sensor new product development.
  • Experience with circuit design, schematic capture, and PCBA layout
  • Familiarity with typical lab equipment (power supply, oscilloscope, DMM, etc.)
