Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA looking for a DevOps Engineer. This is a fully remote position. This candidate will be helping the engineering group to protect customers against cybercrimes. They will help ensure the companies compliance with demands from the law enforcement authorities/agencies from around the world.Key Responsibilities:
  • DevOps Engineer will be building Operational Excellence capabilities on our data platform; This includes Data Cataloging (using Azure Purview), implement Data Quality metrics on our data platform
  • Design, build, and optimize data marts and ETL processes
  • As a DevOps Engineer, you will provide development support and troubleshoot production data and/or system issues
  • Transform high volume complex data structures into relevant information that can be used in advanced analytics and machine learning


  • BS in related technical field or equivalent work experience
  • 7 total professional years of experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years focused on data engineering
  • Proficient in cloud-based SQL and Data Warehouse technologies like Azure Synapse, Snowflake or Redshift
  • Experience with ETL/ELT environments using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica or similar technologies
  • Passion to learn new technologies and architect innovative cloud-based data solutions to solve challenging problems
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, adapt and prioritize in fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with others
  • Need a back-end person who knows how to ingest quality data into our infrastructure
  • Well versed in Data Governance; Has a passion for data security and documentation, collecting data, and making metadata and storage
Top 3 skill sets:
  • Data cataloging/data governance using Azure Purview or similar technologies
  • Sequel database/warehouse design skill - using Azure synapse analytics; Snowflake or other
  • ETL pipeline development using Azure Data Factory
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • History of working in an Agile environment for iterative releases
  • Experience building reliable, scalable, and secure services using modern DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of code or version control systems, like Azure DevOps, Git, or Team Foundation Server
  • Working knowledge of modern engineering best practices, including automated testing, continuous integration, deployment/monitoring for cloud services and infrastructure-as-code
