As a Dialysis Tech, your attention to detail and kind, patient focused attitude while administering dialysis is crucial to sustaining the lives of our patients.
STATUS: Part Time
LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital
DEPARTMENT: Inpatient Dialysis
SCHEDULE: Day/Eve/Night rotating schedule with an Every other Weekend rotation*
**On call responsibilities about 2-4 times a month**
ATTRIBUTES
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of healthcare or hospital experience preferred
- Sets up dialysis treatment equipment per orders
- Dismantles, cleans and disinfects dialysis machine.
- Ensures dialysis machine is in proper working condition.
- Maintains a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
- Maintains the water room in accordance with established policies.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35lbs, stand, stoop, obtain objects stored at higher levels, and full range of motion.
- Understand and follow applicable policies and procedures.
- Completes unit based clinical competency education requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
PAY RANGE: $16.90 - $19.25
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
