Purpose and Scope:

The HRSBP is the strategic advisor, coach to the business for a geographic cluster /therapeutic or many functional areas to achieve strategic business outcomes through superior human capital workforce planning and development initiatives, as well as change, OD and Cultural agendas. Provides meaningful future focused people data driven insights by bringing the outside in perspective to all business strategies.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Accountable for ensuring the Global HR Strategy is localized for geographic/functional/Therapeutic area. This will be achieved by providing Strategic input into the future direction and performance of given areas as well as scoping key people initiatives required to successfully meet business strategic drivers
• Accountable for input into the COE's strategies using deep experience of business needs a well as external market expertise to partner with the COE & consult on their strategy, policies and frameworks to ensure the right level of localization
• Accountable for talent management and strategic human capital planning for the designated business areas by partnering with the senior leadership on strategic priorities end to end SWP, Org Design etc.
• Partners with Senior Leaders to drive organizational success through the provision of HR strategies, data insights etc. to address complex situations
• Accountable for growing Astellas capabilities by leading initiatives and owning plans to increase collaboration, engagement, leadership effectiveness and proven ROI.
• Accountable for designing future focused strategies that anticipate new opportunities as well as understanding market trends and being able to translate into value additive investments.
