Director of Accounting

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our clients team as an Accounting Director. This role requires a candidate with exceptional qualifications and experience in accounting, finance, and leadership. Below are the qualifications we are looking for:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in public accounting.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the accounting field, showcasing managerial accomplishments.
• Previous experience in the healthcare sector, preferably within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or Community Health Center, with exposure to organizations generating revenues of $50M or more.
• Proficiency in audit, compliance, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
• Experience in fund or not-for-profit accounting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including proficiency in Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and Logic Functions.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Blackbaud Financial Edge, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Oracle JD Edwards.
• Demonstrated precision and accuracy in mathematical calculations, coupled with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
