SUMMARY

Position provides administrative support for control of inventory to maintain a high degree of accuracy using a scheduled cycle count process and inventory practices for item tracking, storage, movement and throughput accountability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Enter data to produce labels, after reading and interpreting data.
• Work closely with customer service/account managers to determine shipping requirements.
• Coordinate order picking with Distribution Manager.
• Verify proof of deliveries.
• Check system for released orders
• Coordinate traffic of all private label accounts.
• Maintain proper documentation, bill of ladings, etc., and prepare shipping labels as required.
• Conduct billing for all private label accounts.
• Clerical support as it relates to distribution.
• Conduct all order entry for private label accounts.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications to be successful in this position include:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional business courses or some college is desirable.
• Two years customer service and communication experience, a self-starting and self-motivated professional.
• Two years Distribution or warehouse experience preferred.
• Requires frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to obtain a forklift certification and operate powered equipment.
• Familiarity with routings, bill of ladings, shipping procedures is required.
