Description: An established, independent supermarket chain of 30+ stores in the Northwest is seeking a District Manager to supervise total operations and P&L for 15+ locations .
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises all retail store personnel including, but not limited to: Store Managers, Assistant Managers, Key Holders, Cashiers, Stockers and customer service associates as well as Store operations, conditions and profitability. Additionally, this is a parking lot to roof top total responsibility for all locations in the District. Facility maintenance, vendor management, insuring company policies are being enforced and proper training procedures are practiced.
QUALIFICATIONS
Multi-unit SUPERMARKET EXPERIENCE is required for this position To perform this job successfully, the chosen individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Qualified candidates will have 5 to 8 years experience with a Supermarket chain supervising multiple stores with a company focus on customer service and operating clean, well-stocked stores. A thorough knowledge of all perishable departments will be vital for this position. A previous history of successful total P&L for conventional, low to mid-volume supermarkets and the ability to help grow the region, train personnel and operate these stores to their optimal success will be required for this position.
